Works nearing completion in July.
Works on the roman road are now nearing completion, with final surfacing of the whole of the site planned for early July.
Currently access to the properties is via the diversion through Crymlyn. There is temporary access through the site for pedestrians and cyclists via a small diversion alongside of the site. These arrangements will stay in place up until 6.30am on the 4th of July.
Final surfacing works will be carried out on the 4th & 5th of July. This operation involves a full closure of the road – with no temporary diversion for any through traffic (inclusive of cyclists and pedestrians) alongside the site.
The original cycleway diversion route Via Talybont and onto Crymlyn will be signposted for these two days. Road vehicles diversion will stay the same via Hendre Hall hill and onto Crymlyn.
Once all of the surfacing works are complete, we will re-open the cycle route through the site.
PLEASE NOTE – The area will still be a construction site for a further 2 weeks as we carry out other works to complete the scheme. We ask all to exercise caution when passing through site.
The whole of the permanent works is currently programmed to be completed in late July.”
